Sathish: Auto drivers = Beggars on wheels... whatever be the fare, they still will beg for 10 rupees more...
Me: @Sathish I take offense to that. :P
A very nice article about the movie, us, the auto and the adventure. Thanks to Dhanya and Ranjitha. We got a whole page to ourselves :D
A couple of corrections though:
* I am not a PhD student. I will be one. Right now just doing some research.
* When Sulaiman flew out of the auto when we crashed into the beach, I was driving and not Justin.
* We never hit Panchgani. We crashed at Ratnagiri itself.
* The movie is not about me. It is about Justin Leong.
* Anant was already making the movie and I asked him if I could come along for the auto race and not other way around.

The first webisode (web+episode) of Auto! the Movie. It is brilliant. Just the intro. Keep track at the facebook page for more dope -> http://www.facebook.com/autothemovie
"Why go in the auto when I can sit in the tempo?"
Jebu nails the argument. Period.
Times of India covered us too. :D
Times of India Mumbai covered the Rickshaw Challenge.
After our huge crash at Madikere, we had to fix a billion things. Starting from the frame to the clutch set. A very miserable day. The Bajaj guys couldn’t get the stuff fixed, so we were marooned in Mangalore till late night, when everyone had already reached Murudeshwar.
After crash at Ratnagiri
Choose your fish. I am not interested…
and if you guys haven’t noticed, we have the same auto that Adrianne Tan used for her Rick Roll Shaw race (http://rickrollshaw.com/) a few months back. TN 01 S 2259
BSNL 3g doesn’t seem to work in Goa. Such a pain. No internet. Lots of awesome photos and videos and trip info to post, but will have to wait till we reach Pune. So hang in there.
After all the mishaps and reaching Mangalore a day later than we\hen we were supposed too and driving all night without a wind shield and head lights, we made it to Goa (Panaji) about a hour after the other participants. Our dampened spirits are up again and that is awesome. Everyone is cheerful.
Mostly we spent today getting our auto fixed near Mapusa. I left the crew and I pushed off to find this internet place.
Planning to hit the Mackies Saturday Night market and find a cheap Didgeridoo *Fingers crossed* but if that doesn’t happen, I am going to hit the Casino Caravela tonight. Never been to a casino and this should be some experience. :D
Also have to check out the Choricao (spicy Goan pork sausages). Might also try out the Cashew Liquor or the Port wines.
And oh! I have bought a lot of cool stuff, sms (09742541357) me your complete postal address address and I will mail it away by night fall :D
Now to go check out the Fort in Dil Chahta Hai.
The Karwar beach panorama for the day’s task.
At Murudeshwar. 3 day of driving without wind-shield
